The Academic Guidebook Development of Indonesian and Literature Education Department
The purpose of this research is to make the PBSI FKIP UST Academic Guidance product relevant to RIP and the USSI PBSI and FKIP vision and mission. The research data in the form of documents were collected by observation and interview and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Research procedures with (1) Exploration / needs analysis phase (2) Development Phase (3) Testing Phase.
Based on needs analysis, academic manuals are needed by most lecturers, students and education personnel to carry out academic administration services with clear and standard guidelines. The academic manuals were created by searching academic guide books from several study programs outside the university and referring to the UST statute, university academic rules, and FKIP academic guidelines.
The draft academic guidebook for the Language and Literature Education Study Program that has been made is validated by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Deputy Deans for Academic Affairs, lecturers, and student representatives. After being noted by the validator, the draft academic guidebook was revised according to the validator's notes and recommendations. Then, a draft of the academic manual was presented in the Focus Group Discussion of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program to be established as a draft of Academic Guidelines that was appropriate to be used in the FKT UST Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program.
