UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN MODEL TEAM ACCELERATED INSTRUCTION PADA SISWA KELAS VIIB SMP MUHAMMADIYAH SALAM

The purpose of this study was to improve liveliness and mathematics achievement in cooperative students of class VII B SMP Muhammadiyah Salam Magelang with cooperative learning Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) . This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were students of class VII B which is 14 students who comprised 3 male students and 11 female students. Research findings indicate that the liveliness and increase math achievement. This can be shown by an increase in the average yield percentage of student learning liveliness based on the observation sheet for each cycle is the first cycle of student liveliness and 65.47% for the second cycle was 86.9% and was supported by the results of student learning activity questionnaire also has increased from the first cycle to the second cycle of 67.5% increased to 83.6%. While the average value interpretation of students' mathematics learning increased from an average initial value of the average of 44.64 to 62.07 in the first cycle and the second cycle to 86.42.
