Abstrak

The purpose of this research are to describe the process of implementation of the Cooperative learning models type Numbered Head Together (NHT) to increase the activity and student chemistry learning outcomes in class X Farmasi SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan Klaten. Type of research is action research class carried out in two cycles, where eachcycle consist of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementating, (3) observating, and (4) reflecting. The subjects in this research are student of class X Farmasi SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan Klaten, amounting to 26 students while the object in this research is the activity and student learning outcomes. Data obtained in this research include: student learning outcomes drawn from the test results as the end of cycle and the activity of students drawn from the observation sheets. The results showed an increase in every indicator of student  activity proceeds. In the first cycle the average value of the activity indicator of 62,98% increased in the second cycle into 77,88%%. While the average math student learning outcomes increased from 61 in the pre-cycle to 69,04 in the first cycle after the second cycle increased to 75,58.
