EFEKTIFITAS GUIDED NOTE TAKING TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN AWAL

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine mathematics achievement of students class X SMK Tamansiswa Jetis Yogyakarta who use cooperative learning Guided Note Taking model and students who use conventional learning model, to know which one learning achievement is better among the beginning of a very high and high, medium, low and very low. The population in this research were all students of class X SMK Tamansiswa Jetis Yogyakarta academic year 2014/2015. Samples were elected two classes of 60 students. Data collection techniques used were mathematics achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing with two ways ANOVA. Results of the data analysis can be concluded that the use of students achievement Guided Note Taking high , students achievement that use conventional learning is high , the initial ability of students to use Guided Note Taking model is high , the initial ability of students who use conventional learning is high . Guided Note Taking model is no more effective than conventional learning model to learning achievement is 0.01907 <4.0195, student achievement which has a very high ability and high initial no better than the students who have prior knowledge medium and low and very low  is 1.737 <3.168, there is no interaction between learning model and the initial ability of students based on student learning achievement  is 0.1357 <3.168. Advice related to this study, Guided Note Taking model on the material logic is no more effective than conventional learning model. Perhaps Guided Note Taking model can be more effective in other material.
