ANALISIS PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII SMP PADA MATERI SPLDV DENGAN ILUSTRASI KEGIATAN JUAL-BELI PAKAIAN ADAT

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the understanding of students after following the learning by associating illustrations of traditional clothing sales on the material system of two linear equations. This is based on the fact that there are still many students who do not understand the concept of SPLDV so that they have difficulties in solving problems related to it as well as the illustration of customary pakain is one application of mathematical concept in real life context. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted on the students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Cangkringan. The procedures of this study include classroom learning, comprehension test, analysis of test results, documentation, interviews, analysis of interviews and observation. From this research, it can be concluded that the students who reach the level of total understanding on the first indicator that is re-states the concept there are 83.3%, and 16.7% others do not understand because they do not understand the material. While the other six indicators the level of students' understanding is at 33.3% to 66.6%. This is because most students still find it difficult to present problems in mathematical form so that they also find difficulties in finding solutions or solutions to problems.
