Abstrak

In teaching learning process especially in mathematics subject, the teaching and learning process is monotonous. The conventional that makes teacher as the center of class and the students are passive. The challenge of the conventional method in curriculum  2013 is the students find difficulty in answering mathematics tasks. This paper is aimed to provide the understanding of mathematics concepts and to provide the understanding of creative problem solving (CPS) approach. So it can concluded that provide students’ understanding in mathematics concepts and apply the creative problem solving (CPS) approach can improve students’ understanding in mathematics concepts. So the students are able to answer every various task in mathematics significantly.
