Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Dan Kreatif Siswa Dalam Memecahkan Masalah Matematika Siswa Kelas IX SMPN I Mbeliling, Manggarai Barat, Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur

This study aims to find out the description of the students' mathematical ability in solving mathematical problems, which in turn can help the teacher to adjust the learning approaches used in accordance with the level of critical thinking ability and creative students. This research uses quantitative descriptive research approach. Data obtained from the results of student test results in solving mathematical problems, then will be analyzed based on indicators of critical thinking and creative skills and scoring guidelines that have been made. After analyzed per student, the data will be grouped in the range of students' ability level based on predetermined scale and then will be known level of critical thinking ability and creative student as a whole. From this research, it is concluded that the level of critical and creative thinking ability of students in solving. mathematical problems is still low, so the teacher must help the students to improve their creative and critical thinking ability by applying the learning approach according to the students' ability.
