Abstrak

Education is successful if able to produce quality students. Factors affecting the success of a learner's education is divided into external factors (family and instrumental) as well as internal factors (physiological, psychological, learning techniques, intelligence of children). This study aims to determine whether there is a positive relationship between parental attention, with students' intelligence, and student learning motivation on student's mathematics learning achievement. Parents are fully responsible for the education of their children then the attention of parents play an important role in supporting the learning achievement of children. The learning achievement of a child will also be influenced by internal factors of the children themselves, which in this discussion is the initial ability and motivation of student learning. Mathematics is a subject that the material sequentially and interrelated, mathematics learning achievement of students obtained at this time is influenced by the initial ability obtained by students on the previous education level. Motivation is an impulse from within a person to achieve a goal. So without the motivation of students in learning, of course students will not perform. Family circumstances and psychological conditions are different from one child to another. So it is possible that there is a relationship between parents' attention, initial ability, and student learning motivation on mathematics learning achievement.
