Abstrak

The purpose of this research are to identify the preference of motivation on study, the preference of parents social economic status and the preference of the mathematics learning achievement viii junior high school student in tepus region, to identify the relation between study motivation, parents social economic status, and the mathematics learning achievement. The hypotesis of this research are there is a positive and significant relation between study motivation and parents social economic status and the mathematics learning achievement. Based on the result of the research, the preference of student motivation of study is in the high category, parents social economic status in the low category, learning achievement in the high category. In the hypothesis, (R) =  and sign  that means there is a positive and significant relation between study motivation and the parents social economic status along with the mathematics learning achievement. Withthat is means that those both of the independent variable are influencing the achievement of learning mathematics. There is positive and significant relation between study motivation and mathematics learning achievment;  and sign . There is a positive and significant relation between parents social economic status and mathematics learning achievement.  and
