EFEKTIVITAS STAD TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was (1) To determine differences mathematics learning interest and the learning outcomes between class who used STAD learning model and conventional model. (2) To determine differences mathematics achievement who have high outcome, medium and low. (3) To determine what be interactions between on Learning Model and learning outcomes inlearning. This is a quasi-experimental study with the population students grade VII of SMP PIRI Sleman. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling technique and two classes were randomly assigned as sample of the 3 existing classes, two classes which is 56 students. The analysis technique used examine the research finding was descriptive analysis and two ways Analysis of variance (F-Test). The results showed(1) The learning modelSTAD is more effective than conventional learning model F_(obs.A)>F_(Table ) that is 17,85 > 4,04. (2) Mathematics learning outcomes of students with high learning interests have similarities with students who have medium and low interest F_(obs.B)>F_(Table)that is 2,09<3,19. (3) There is not interaction between learning model and learning outcomes in mathematics learning interest F_(obs.AB)>F_(Table ) that is 2,73<3,19.
