PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR

Abstrak

The purpose of this research are to describe the process of implementation of the Cooperative learning models type Think pair Share (TPS) to increase the activity and student chemistry learning outcomes in class VII SMP N 1 Gedangsari. Type of research is action research class carried out in two cycles, where eachcycle consist of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementating, (3) observating, and (4) reflecting. The subjects in this research are student of class VII SMP N 1 Gedangsari, amounting to 26 students while the object in this research is the activity and student learning outcomes. Data obtained in this research include: student learning outcomes drawn from the test results as the end of cycle and the activity of students drawn from the observation sheets. The results showed an increase in every indicator of student  activity proceeds. In the first cycle the average value of the activity indicator of 73,56% increased in the second cycle into 83,65%%. While the average math student learning outcomes increased from 66,15 in the pre-cycle to 71,73 in the first cycle afterthat the second cycle increased to 75,77.
