PENERAPAN MODEL PBL PADA POKOK BAHASAN STATISTIKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to increase student’s activities and learning achievement of statistic subject in class VII E MTs N Prambanan use problem based learning model (PBL). The type of this research is classroom action research. The techniques that used to collection data in this study are interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The techniques to analysis data for observation of active engagement  has been done by calculate the percentage of student’s activities. The student’s learning achievement has been done by calculate the avarage value and percentage of student passing the minimum completeness standard. The results of this study indicate that the application of PBL model has increased the students 'activity by 81,25% and the students' learning achievement is 71,87% of the completed students. Thus the PBL model can be applied as an alternative learning to improve student activeness and learning achievement.
