PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA

Abstrak

The purpose of this research was to increase being active and result in learning mathematics through cooperative learning mothod Teams Games Tournament (TGT) of students class VII F SMP Negeri 3 Banguntapan. The type of this research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR), accumulate data by observation technique, test and documentation. The subject of this research were the students class VII F SMP Negeri 3 Banguntapan in years 2016/ 2017. The object of this research were students’ being active and result in learning mathematics through mothod Teams Games Tournament (TGT). This reseach of the study shows that after applying this learning method, students’ being active and result has an increase. Students’ being active has an increase in cycle I from 36,73% on pre-action   become 58,41% on cycle I become 81,72% on cycle II  and Average studen score increased from 51,69 on pre-action become 69,23 on cycle I become 80,15 on cycle with Minumum Completeness Criteria is 76,92%.
