Abstrak

The purpose of this research was to increase being active and result in learning mathematics through cooperative learning model type two stay two stray of students class VIIIC SMP Negeri3 Banguntapan. The type of this research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR), accumulate data by observation technique, test and documentation. The subject of this research were the students class VIII C SMP Negeri 3 Banguntapan in years 2016/ 2017. The object of this research were students’ being active and result in learning mathematics through cooperative learning model type two stay two stray. This research of the study shows that after applying this learning model, students’ being active and result has an increase. Students’ being active has an increase in cycle I from 39,42% on pre-action become 57,93% in cycle I become 78,36% in cycle II and average student store increased  from 53,65 on pre-action become 65,81 on cycle I become 76,39 with Minumum Completeness Criteria is 76,92%.
