PENINGKATAN KETERLIBATAN DAN PEMAHAMAN PADA POKOK BAHASAN LINGKARAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL EXAMPLE NON EXAMPLE BERBANTUAN GAME PUZZLE PADA KELAS VIII SMP N 1 SRUMBUNG

Abstrak

The purpose of this research are to (1)  increase involvement  of the students on interaction and discus with using Example Non Example model assisted Puzzle Game of eight graders of SMP N 1 Srumbung, (2) increase understanding on the mathematic material of eight graders of SMP N 1 Srumbung in the teaching of mathematic, (3) describe the learning process using Example Non Example model assisted Puzzle Game. This research is CAR (Classroom Action Research) that is done collaboratively the subject of the research are the eight graders class of SMP N 1 Srumbung that are 32 students. While the object of this research is the implementation  of the Example Non Example model assisted Puzzle Game to increase the involvement and understanding of the students on the mathematic teaching. The techniques of the collect the data is using interview, observation, test and documentation technique. The technique of analizing data is qualitative data. To analyze the data is done by calculating the average. The result of the test shows that the involvement of the students increased in every cycle using Example Non Example model assisted Puzzle Game. The involvement of the students in cycle 1 is low 56,26%, while in cycle 2 it increased in 87,5%. The improvement of score increase in every cycle more than pre cycle. The score of pre cycle is 69,56 and in  first cycle  increase to be 75,84, in  second cycle  again increase to be 78,22 above the standart criteria minimum that is 76.
