EFEKTIVITAS QUANTUM LEARNING DENGAN TEKA-TEKI SILANG TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SMP N 1 SEYEGAN

Abstrak

This research aimed to find out (1) the tendency of students’ Mathematics learning attainment using Quantum Learning model with crosswords; (2) the tendency of students’ Mathematics learning attainment using conventional learning model; and (3) the effectiveness between Quantum Learning model by using crosswords and conventional learning model towards students’ Mathematics learning attainment of class VII of SMP N 1 Seyegan. This research belongs to quasi experimentalresearch. The average of experimental learning group attainment was 69,38 which belonged to a high category and the average of control group was 72,27 which belonged to a high category. The test of t correlation was used for the hypothesis test and resulted  i.e. , accordingly the hypothesis was rejected. This meant there was not the significant difference both students’ Mathematics learning attainment using Quantum Learning model and crosswords and students’ Mathematics learning attainment using conventional learning model. In other way, Quantum Learning model by using crosswords was not more effective than conventional learning model towards students’ Mathematics learning attainment of class VII of SMP N 1 Seyegan.
