Abstract

This study aims to describe character cultured schools to support the creation of Pancasila student profiles in elementary schools. Strengthening character culture schools is even more urgent because character culture schools are centers of excellence. Building the profile of Pancasila learners also needs to embrace democracy in the process of its formation. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The informants consisted of teachers and principals in the former Banyumas Residency consisting of Banyumas Regency, Cilacap Regency, Purbalingga Regency, and Banjarnegara Regency. The results showed that activities that support character-cultured schools are habituation activities in learning; Religious habituation programs; Environmental character habituation program; Character habituation program caring for others; School literacy programs; Habituation program of character manners; Discipline character strengthening program; And extracurricular activities. All programs are effective when principals, teachers, and education personnel set an example, as well as build habits as habituation.
