PROGRAM PARENTAL SELF-EFFICACY PADA ORANG TUA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAGI ANAK TUNAGRAHITA DI MASA PANDEMI
Abstrak
This research comes from the problems caused by the impact of Corona Virus Desease 2019 on the learning process for children with special needs, especially for mentally retarded children, which is carried out online (online). Parents who have mentally retarded children often complain about the provision of learning to their children due to a lack of knowledge, thus shaping their behavior that tends to let go of responsibility, have many reasons for not providing learning to their children, so the impact is that the child's development is not visible and many behaviors that should develop but not growing. They show these behaviors because their confidence in their ability to educate their children is very low. The purpose of this study was to increase parental self-efficacy by using a qualitative descriptive method through a parental self-efficacy program. The program implemented can help increase this self-efficacy. The results showed that the program created could increase the self-efficacy of parents in providing services and learning to mentally retarded children during the pandemic.
