About the Journal

Jurnal Spirit is a scientific journal managed by Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The Spirits Journal is also expected to be a space for the development of Ki Hajar Dewantara's ideas for the development of the realm of psychology in Indonesia. The Spirits Journal aims to support the growth of new ideas about the knowledge of psychology, both contemporary psychology, and psychology based on Indonesian culture. Journal Spirits as a space for information exchange and research results on psychology from lecturer researchers or practitioners in the field of psychology.

 

Focus and Scope

Journal of Spirits is a scientific journal run by the Faculty of Psychology Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The Spirits journal aims to create a space for the exchange of information on psychology. The Spirits journal aims to support the growth of new ideas and ideas about psychological knowledge in both contemporary psychology and self-based psychology. Spirits journal is also expected to be a space for the development of Ki Hajar Dewantara's ideas on psychology in Indonesia. Spirits Journal has a focus on study results with qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods in the field of psychology, especially on:

  1. Social Psychology;
  2. Developmental psychology;
  3. Educational Psychology;
  4. Indigenous Psychology;
  5. Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

 

Peer-Review Process

Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bestari/ peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by the Blind Review Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors for revision. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In each manuscript, Mitra Bestari / peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects ( contribution, novelty, originality, relevance, and presentation). Mitra Bestari / a peer reviewer who collaborates with SPIRITS Journal is an expert in psychology studies and issues around it. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully in 30 to 60 days.

 

Author Processing Charge

No fees are incurred for article processing, submission, or reviewing the articles.

However, should authors or other parties need print/hard copies of the journal, an IDR 100,000/copy should be paid for the printing and binding.
