Abstract

The purposes of this research was to describe the creativity and learning achievement of mathematics in Class VII A SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta using Quantum Teaching. This research is Class Action Research (CAR). The technique of data done by observation, questionnaire, and tests. The results of research that the creativity average in pre-cycle 64,75%, in cycle I 71,97% and in cycle II 81%. Then The results of research that learning achievement of mathematics in pre-cycle 20,69%, in cycle I 55,17% and in cycle II 72,41%. The creativity and learning achievement of the KKM showed also increased. Based the results of the research, Quantum Teaching can increase creativity and learning achievement of mathematics. So, teachers can implement Quantum Teaching as a variation of learning.
