Peer Review Process

Articles submitted to this journal will go through 2 stages of review, namely pre-review and review of substance. Pre-review of the article is carried out by the editing team ( editor ) to see the suitability of the article with the focus and scope of the journal as well as the style of the environment. Checking for elements of plagiarism is done through a search on Google Scholar and Plagiarism Checker-X Pro. Pre-study time is between 1-2 weeks. Substance review is carried out by at least 2 reviewers ( reviewers ) on a  single-blind basis . The length of time for review is between 3-8 weeks. If desired, the reviewer can request a re-review after the author has revised the article.

Decisions for publication, amendment, or rejection are based on their reports or recommendations. There will be four types of editor decisions based on reviewer recommendations:

1. Accept Submission: Submissions will be accepted without revision.
2. Revisions Required: Submissions will be accepted after minor changes have been made. Articles sent back to the author for revision must be returned to the editor without delay. Revised articles that are returned more than 30 days will be considered a new submission. Revised articles can be submitted to the editorial via the Online Submission Interface.
3. Resubmit for Review: Submissions must be reworked, but with significant changes, are acceptable. Will require a second half review.
4. Decline Submission: Submissions will not be published in the journal.

Articles published in Wacana Akademika are reviewed by Reviewer before being published. The decision whether to accept an article for publication is the authority of the Chief Editor based on the recommendation of the reviewers. Articles that have been declared accepted and have been layout  will be published in  In Progress  number in the next number before the regular number is published according to the schedule so that it can be indexed  and  can be accessed immediately .
